The Brief

Ditka’s Restaurants needed bold, high-impact creative to drive awareness and foot traffic around game day and core menu favorites. The challenge was to stand out in a crowded sports bar category by leaning into the one thing no competitor could copy: Mike Ditka’s larger-than-life Chicago persona.

The Results

We created an out-of-home series written in Da Coach’s voice, using short, confident lines designed to stop people in motion and make Ditka’s feel like the natural home for Chicago sports culture.

The work made Ditka’s feel less like a restaurant and more like a clubhouse. We kept the Coach’s energy alive year-round, giving locals a place to show up for the vibe, the food, and the attitude whether there was a game on or not.
